Great connection. It hadn't occurred to me before but bloggers really are opinion columnists. I also agree blogging will continue to grow. Most people haven't even caught on and started reading them yet.

What I love about the internet is that it adds more life to all people. With the vast amounts of free information available there will be a day it can no longer be surpressed by those that seek to keep their people down.

Hopefully as bloggers we are a great contributor to that!

MoirSolace,

I'm glad you are inspired to write. Keep putting your thoughts and ideas out into the universe.

Yeah man, sure, you can use my quote.

Blogging is very new to me. I was inspired to start one by this blog, actually. Just in the short time that I have been blogging, It has already evolved. Always to something more manageable... perhaps even better...

I love the rock n' roll quote! Can I use that?

Blogs will continue to grow and adapt, so will those looking to use them for what ever purposes. One of the big new areas with all the high bandwidth has to be video so maybe less Blogs more Vlogs?
Like many commenting I also posted an entry for the group writing competition <a href="http://tnash.wordpress.com/2006/12/20/you-dont-have-to-be-a-writer-to-be-a-blogger/" rel="nofollow">here</a> on my predictions for blogging next year

This is a comparison I've agreed with since I started seeing blogs - they're columns in a new medium. They'll be around in some form for a long time.

"There is still endless opportunity on the internet."

This is what I love about the internet, and blogging, and all the other great new applications of technology that seem to pop up daily. My biggest problem is picking just one opportunity to focus on!
