I tried some makeshift winter gear for them, but that was a disaster. So we sat inside until Friday afternoon when I managed to get to their school and retrieve their winter gear. Ugh! Take care... Our first reaction was to say "well, we're not going anywhere today" (We were supposed to vacate the cabin that morning.) But when the weather report said that the storm was going to last a couple more days, we decided to boogie and do what it took to get out of there. Ended up taking 14 hours to travel what should have taken 5 hours to get home. Good luck handling the little ones.
